Provincial Chapter 2024

Following a three-day prayer and discernment process led by Fr. Vincent Saldanha SJ from March 10th to 12th, 2024, the 37 capitulants and community sisters participated in a Votive Mass honoring the Holy Spirit on 13th March, 2024 at 8:30 am.

Rt. Rev. Bishop Alwyn D’silva presided over the Holy Eucharist, with Fr. Francis D’souza SJ, the facilitator of the chapter, as concelebrant. In his homily, Bishop Alwyn stressed the importance of mutual respect for each other’s charisms within the Congregation and the necessity to foster them.

Following the Mass, the chapter members proceeded in a procession to the chapter hall with lighted lamps, singing hymns to the Holy Spirit. In his inaugural address, Bishop Alwyn underscored the significance of several emerging realities outlined in the book ‘Bangkok Document’, which includes
