Seminar by Sr. Nanditha Pereira, the Superior General in preparation for the General Chapter 2024

A seminar was conducted by Sr. Nanditha Pereira, the Superior General from January 16- 20, 2024 for all the teams of all the units of the Congregation in preparation for the General Chapter 2024. The first phase of the seminar focused on the coordination of the ministries, evaluating the successes, looking into the concerns and the challenges of the ministries and envisioning the priorities according to the Charism of our congregation. The role and the function of Bursars and its place in planning of the apostolic works of the Congregation was emphasized.

The second phase commenced with inputs by Sr. Nanditha on the preparation for the General Chapter 2024, expounding the theme - SRA Journeying Forward as a Beacon of Hope, further guiding the sisters to initiate the process of evaluation through SWOT analysis and Appreciative Inquiry. Fr. Vincent Saldanha, SJ in his one-day session reflected on the topics on spiritual conversation, personal and communal discernment which deepened our understanding on the process of discernment and its importance in our daily life and the mission.

The seminar was an experience of celebrating the unity and the strength of the Congregation to carry forward the process of renewal.
