Formal and Non-Formal Education

There are about 52 sisters involved in this important ministry. The main objective of this ministry is integral development of the children in Hindi and English medium schools through values of the Gospel, impart education and create a better society.

Our sisters work in 8 Hindi medium schools, three English medium schools of the diocese and 4 our English medium primary schools. Besides this our sisters are involved in the education of the handicapped, Jeevan Jyoti school for the blind, and Nav Vani school for the hearing impaired.


Boarding Ministry


Pluralism is our National heritage. Education of young minds to work for unity and peace.

We have 8 boarding houses for the poor children. we provide them education and basic needs.

Jeevan Jyothi School for the Blind

Jeevan Jyoti a School for the Blind was started by the sisters of Queen of the Apostles in 1975, at Varanasi, U.P. with its motto "To Serve in Love."



Jeevan Jyoti School is dedicated to offer a respectful life for the visually impaired in the society. Our wider vision is to reach out to all the differently abled, economically weaker and physically as well as mentally challenged sections of the society.
