Origin of JCT
After having worked with various Non-Governmental Organizations and in collaboration with governmental support, we see that the efforts are many but the impact envisaged is few. With the rapid growth of the country’s developmental initiatives the quality life of the poor remains stagnant with out balanced progress.
Inspired by our society’s founder "To go wherethe need is great" we the women belonging to the congregation of the sisters of the queen of the Apostles , Lucknow province came together to get involved radically with the people of UttarPradesh. We want to work with our people towards including the excluded in to the process of development. The rapidly changing global environment is having a profound impact on the way people and communities organize and mobilize to create a better world for themselves and for future generations. We want o respond creatively to this dynamic context by creating a community driven development grounded in a commitment to a good and abundant life for all. The pioneers of Jeevandeep Charitable Trust (JCT) have been working with the rural people from 1976. They got involved in the pains, agonies and struggles of the less privileged sections. The long years of involvement with rural poor and the responses received from them, the changes that were taking place in individuals, families, and village communities were the sources of inspiration and motivation to formalize these interventions. Hence the initiators of JCT considered establishing one voluntary organization for promoting the people’s organizations to improve their quality of life.
Jeevandeep Charitable Trust is a non-profit making, charitable voluntary organization registered on18July 2007as a Trust under Indian Trust Act 1908 section-32A.
The Trust facilities the process of development with the following principles:
Guided by these principles the Trust promotes local leadership with confidence that creates innovation and challenge others to think globally and act locally. With an integrated approach the following areas of interventions are initiated by the Trust.

Trust is the development Unit of Lucknow province. At present it has minimum resources to intervene with the women, children and youth of Sandila in Hardoi district. We do not have the needed infrastructure to function as an organization.
We look forward for generous hands to building up a Trust promoting the life of the poor.
